Future Plans

There are a number of plans we are considering for the future of the 9Metaverse. Some of these are listed below.

9Cat Scholarship Program

The 9Cat scholarship program is one way in which we can expand the Discord community and increase the number of daily active players of 9Cat Saga. Scholars are users that will utilise 9Cat NFTs owned by others in order to play the game and earn 9Photon on their behalf. By undertaking the work required to earn the 9Photon tokens, they are rewarded with a portion of the 9Photon gained.

This system frees up time for 9Cat holders and breeders, lowers the price point for entry to earn 9Photon to Zero, and entices more users to join the 9Cat Saga ecosystem. Beyond the Scholar role, there will be other roles including Managers whose job will revolve around educating and training scholars on how to play the game and which strategies to implement.

Guilds

Guilds are another way to promote community interaction by allowing members to come together under a shared banner so they may communicate, share information and strategies for success. The introduction of guilds would also make it possible to introduce potential ranked competitions and leaderboards between 9Cat Saga players further spurring potential community growth. In the future, guilds may also be able to pool their 9Photon tokens together into a guild chest, purchase NFTs for shared Guild-wide use and more.

Co-op and PvP modes

The 9Cat Saga game was not one that was designed to be played alone. We want players to be able to play with friends, and be able to make new friends within the game. As of v0.4.0 we have released a Co-op multiplayer mode that allows up to 4 players to explore, complete missions, fight and survive the different planets of the 9Metaverse together.

This mode will continue being worked on to bring players the best possible experience and a PvP mode is planned for future release as well.

User-Generated Content

The backbone of any gaming franchise is the community of fans that stand behind it. We want to encourage the creation of content from our talented community members to share amongst each other and to spread online. These could be things such as fan-art, guides, videos, reviews, custom songs and more. We will try to hold contests and give prizes to encourage and reward those users that are doing their part to help spread word of the 9Cat Saga game and make it a desirable ecosystem to enter into.
